Sylvester Development started in the early 2000s as a family business. The matriarch of the company first arrived in Canada in the mid-2000s to pursue a career in construction. Sylvester then started an apprenticeship in carpentry and masonry for over 10yrs then persue a diploma in construction contractor management for an additional 3yrs at Stratford university prior to the start-up of Sylvester Development. It was from there that the framework of Sylvester Development began. The GTA-based construction company has since grown to complete more than 1000 projects within the province of Ontario.
